“ First time visiting with a group of friends, a really lovely, dog friendly pub with a great garden. We had lovely Marty the dog join us for a while at our table Friendly and good service, local patrons were very welcoming and the food was really good quality. Whilst I don’t live in the area, I’d be more than happy to meet up with friends there again. ”
“ Popped in for an early evening pint just over two weeks ago, whilst staying nearby. Nice looking pub, real fire, friendly locals and staff. My wife and I enjoyed a well kept pint of Harveys Old Ale each. The following lunchtime I returned for lunch with my inlaws. I had the halloumi burger, which was very nice indeed. Well presented, good salad and perfect chips: crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Ale was a little on the cold side on this visit but still drinkable. I'd definitely return. ”
“ Popped in to this little gem on the way home from a day out. From the moment we stepped in the door it was the most wonderful experience. Beautiful pub laid out just right. Staff so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing as well. My wife had the breakfast burger. She said that was the second best burger she had. And my full English breakfast done me in for the price you get a lot of food and it was all amazing. Definitely going to pop back in sometime soon ”

“ Such a homey welcoming place, greeted by the super friendly owner. Dogs welcome which is great! Huge garden area to enjoy in the sun. Sunday Roast was amazing!! Could taste the freshness, price was affordable for the amount of food given, we were so full we couldn’t enjoy any homemade desserts. Everything was clean which is always pleasant. Owner made friendly conversation and chefs were friendly and brought us the food personally. Would recommend 100% and we hope to be back soon! ”
